Mission & Service Descriptions

Mission: Data Services is committed to providing superior value to districts by delivering timely, accurate, and meaningful support in the areas of student testing, state reporting, and data analysis.  Goals: Continuously evaluate, adapt, and enhance our approach to best serve the needs of our districts and their students. Vision: To always be a trusted partner, provide outstanding customer service, and help school districts focus on student success. 

 The Data Services Team supports the following service areas:

  • State Reporting department supports districts with NYSED reporting responsibilities through mentoring, customized CIO support, and Level 0 data quality software. 

  • Testing Services supports districts’ K-12 state-mandated paper and computer-based testing requirements.

  • Data Warehouse department collects and loads data to the State Information Repository System (SIRS) and provides detailed verification reporting/data analysis services to assist school personnel with enhancing their instructional curriculum and student performance.   

  • Data Privacy and Security Services provides districts with resources in support of Ed Law 2d Part 121 Regulations.

  • This afternoon (9/12/24) at 3:00 we will be rolling out the new navigation for Level 1.

    On September 12 at 3:00 we will be rolling out the new navigation for Level 1. This will require about 1 hour of downtime.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you or any of your users have set a custom home page in Level 1, please open a help desk incident as you will receive an error on logging in.

  • Level 1 Update 1/18/2024

    UPDATE 1/18/2024 - We have completed an update to Level 1. This update includes a new login page, a new landing page for teachers and security and UI updates. This update also includes a change to the Level 1 URL. Please update your bookmarks and links to www.lhric.org/level1. If you encounter any issues, please open a help desk incident.

    Dear Colleagues,

    We will be performing system upgrades beginning this Thursday, 4/20 at 4:00PM continuing through Sunday, April 23rd.

    Level 1 and Level 2 reporting may not be available during this time.   L0 will not be affected. 

    Data loaded to L0 this Thursday or Friday by 2:30pm, can be viewed in L1 reports Monday April 24th.
