Cybersecurity Focus

At the center of Cybersecurity at LHRIC are the Technology Support Service departments. These teams are responsible for researching and applying cybersecurity measures to keep district data and systems safe. The cross-functional team is part of the statewide cyber intelligence task force, and all team members have advanced cybersecurity training. A sample of the cybersecurity processes in place are regular security updates, vulnerability assessments, a SOC2 audit, and a cohesive incident response plan framework among others. Offsite backups, wireless device protection, MFA, Firewalls, filtering, intrusion detection, proactive monitors, and malware protection are only a few of the components of the robust cybersecurity measures in place for supported districts.

Cybersecurity Services

The LHRIC Security Operations Service offers a Managed Hybrid SOC and a Managed Email Security Service that work to bolster cybersecurity for your district. With consolidated alerting, 24×7 monitoring, and a dedicated response team, the Hybrid SOC strengthens resilience and reduces risk across your environment, while
the Email Security Service decreases phishing attacks, encrypts sensitive communications, and prevents data leaks. These services help safeguard your systems and users from evolving threats.
