Student Information Systems
About Student Information Systems
The LHRIC provides service and support for multiple student information systems. All are web-based K-12 student information systems (SIS) with real-time access to enrollment, attendance, discipline, grade books and reporting, transcripts, communication, and curriculum scheduling. They offer mobile access, parent portals, integration with assessments, IEPs, APPR reporting, data warehousing functionality and more.
The LHRIC not only provides support for these student information systems but also helps districts identify modules and associated products required for successful student information system operation. With state reporting increasingly playing an important role in data collection, the student information team constantly monitors reporting requirements to assure the student information system remains current and compliant.
Also included in the service are: regularly scheduled newsletters with important date reminders, tips and tricks, spotlights on new features; as well as professional development.

Why Synergy?: Synergy solves the problem of managing student data with multiple systems that don’t inherently talk to each other. Reports can combine data from different data domains to yield critical insights that are hard to attain when combining disparate systems. Districts gain transparency at all levels regarding performance trends, consistency of instruction, curriculum efficacy, professional development needs, equity concerns, and resources. Additional benefits include increased efficiency, improved data quality, simplified oversight processes, and a reduction in time spent on administrative tasks, freeing up end users and support staff to focus on activities that contribute directly to positive student outcomes.
Student Focus: Synergy stands out as a student-focused platform through the power of connected data. Processes flow smoothly and continuously, with stakeholders receiving notifications all along the way. This enables districts to respond promptly to student needs, with continuity of support from the classroom to MTSS plans to special education referral and services. Parents receive portal updates related to classroom learning, MTSS, and special education. The Teacher gradebook displays MTSS information and the latest IEPs and 504 plans.
Ease of Use: Synergy is designed to be intuitive to use and personalize from day one for all users. Users need just one password to log into a single interface to access all their data and tools. Navigation is intuitive and flexible, including fast and accurate search. Synergy Mail with automatic translation as well as multi-language support for documents and the ParentVUE portal make communication inclusive for all families.

The KioskVUE® Mobile app can be installed on district devices and offered in a variety of locations to offer self-help services to student and parents. All Edupoint mobile applications on all platforms are installed on the device as fully featured, robust, fast local applications that provide the user with full use of the core SIS application features.
