STATE REPORTING SERVICES
DESCRIPTION
This state-mandated service is necessary for the transfer of data from public schools districts to the state data repository. It allows districts to be compliant with the demands and timelines established by the State Education Department. This service supports districts in the quest to:
- Report data to all levels of the State Data Warehouse that is complete and accurate.
- Assign each student a unique 10-digit NY ID allowing assessment information to be continuously linked when students move within New York State.

DEADLINE: UPK Annual Enrollment Data due to L1 by 2:30
Counts of UPK students enrolled through March 12, 2025, collected for calculating UPK grant funding.

DEADLINE: MBK Grants Program Service records & Liberty Partnership Programs Preliminary Data Due

My Brother’s Keeper with active grants must report complete
data to SIRS using program service codes 4005–4009. Liberty

DEADLINE: New Regents in Life Sciences and Geometry Pre-ID Data Due to L1 by 2:30
The deadline has been extended from March 6 to March 13th.
NYSED will be doing an extract of Geometry/Regents Science course/roster data for the special score collection. Please ensure Demographics, Enrollment, Course Instructor Assignment, and Student Class Entry Exit data are up to date in L1 by 2:30
Note: The science courses (new and old) will overlap until June 2026. All districts should ensure courses culminating in the new and old Regents exams are coded properly in 24-25 so that students take the correct exam for the curriculum.

- Please review course/roster data using SIRS 330- Student Class/Course Instructor Summary Report choosing Mathematics/Science in the Subject Area dropdown.
*NYSED will note discrepancies when schools place their orders for exams. It is expected that schools will order exams matching what they have reported as course data in SIRS.

DEADLINE: Second data pull -BEDS Day Enrollment and FRPL Data Due
FRPL, enrollment by grade, district of residence, and supplemental enrollment counts submitted via SIRS are collected for calculating preliminary State Aid allocations
FRPL data are reported to the USED via EDFacts. All entities need to show FRPL counts in the March snapshot to be included in FRPL data submitted to USED. FRPL data are reported to USED and used primarily for the Non-fiscal Survey of the CCD and other USED offices.State Reporting -
DEADLINE: The 2023-24 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) Data Submission due
The March deadline has been extended- it is now April 7th.

The public release of 2020 Cohort- 2024 Total Cohort High School Graduation Rate and 2024 High School Pathways to Graduation Data is available on data.nysed.gov
The public release also includes the School Report Card Group 2—Staff Qualifications and graduation rate data, and links to the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) information and data file.State Reporting -
2023-24 Student Digital Resource Report

The 2023-24 Student Digital Resource Report has been released on the NYSED Public Data Site. Knowledge gained from the report about digital resource and internet access at the student’s place of residence can be used to target equitable resources for students to improve instruction and student outcomes. The report provides information to the public on home digital resources and internet access as required by Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17.
